Metal Heat Treatment Furnaces
Tempering Furnaces
Air-recirculating furnaces for tempering hardened steel parts to the required toughness.
Overview
After hardening, steel parts are tempered to balance hardness and toughness. Forced-air recirculation provides the uniformity that tempering demands at its relatively low temperatures, where radiant heating alone is uneven.
Tempering furnaces can operate stand-alone or as part of a hardening line.
